We like Tonsai

Same reasons everyone else likes this place.
Cheap to live and a lot to climb! Relaxing atmosphere. Usually very crowded in Dec-Mar. Sadly many amazing routes are already very polished. You can climb here even if it rains because many routes locate under overhanging roofs. You can access Railay's climbs from Ton Sai via jungle path (20 mins of sweaty slog), via shortcut when low tide, or by longtail boat (50-300 bahts/person depending on how many people comes with you).
Best relaxed holiday destination ever. too hot and humid for climbing well, but who cares :P with such amazing beaches and cheap living, it can be very easy to extend your visit
