Description

Monte Tisiddu East is the east facing side of this mountain range and consist of 4 sectors:

Torre dei venti:
Mostly vertical technical climbing on good grey quality rock. There is always a breeze making it a perfect summer destination. Shade comes around 10am on the right side of the sector. To be avoided on days of Mistral winds.

Bacilli:
Sustained vertical climbing on high quality rock. The left part of the sector stays dry for a very long time. Can be windy on days of Mistral. In Summertime the very left part goes in the shade at 11h00.

Wallstreet:
Varied climbing on vertical to slight overhanging rock. in summertime the wall goes in the shade at 13h00. Good for days of Mistral winds. The routes on the left in the canyon are always in the shade.

Su fundu:
The lower rockband is suitable for kids, the higher is not. Su fundu has a wide variety of styles and grades. In summertime the wall goes in the shade at 13h00. Good for days with mistral winds.

History

Bolting started here with M.Oviglia in 2003. Later on most of the bolting was realised through the Climbing Ulassai Association.
