Description

The crag with the peculiar name 902 is a beautiful red limestone cave located within the ravine that connects Fyli and Thriasio Pedio. Its resemblance with Kalymnian crags is easy to notice, featuring big tufas, holes and long overhangs. The rock quality is very good and the routes are fully equipped with bolts, the majority of which are in good condition. The crag has seen very little publicity in the climbing media and remains relatively unknown among climbers.

This fact, along with absence of easy routes and the relatively long access ensure that the place sees little traffic. However, for high-grade climbers the place can be a great choice for climbing during the warmer months of the year.

History

The crag was discovered around 1999. All the routes were bolted soon after by Antonis Skevofilakas with the participation of T. Michailidis, K. Roussos and G. Aliferis.
