To arrive at Asubone it is necessary to drive from Kwahu to the village of Adowso. Due to deterioration in the road quality from Adowso, it is necessary to carry on to Asubone in either a four wheel drive, or to embark via motorbikes. There are men waiting in the village with their motorcycles who will take you for about 15 Ghana cedi per person. This stretch of the journey will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in the Asubone village, to the right of the main road is the main area where the top rope anchors are located. A further 10 minutes walk out of the village brings you to The Chicken or where there are easily accessible roadside boulders and fully bolted lines further up from the roadside.

To arrive at Kwahu you can take a trotro from Accra Central Station for about 50 cedi. The journey is approximately 3 hours to Nkawkaw where you can disembark from the trotro and take a taxi to the Kwahu village.
