Description

Restrictions: the heavily protected peregrine falcon nests on the rock, so we ask everyone to observe the following rules:

- February 15 - June 30: the paths of the Északkeleti pillér, the Északi fal, the Bástya and the Hátsó fal cannot be climbed;

– March 1–20: the Bölcsöde, the Óvoda, the Északkeleti fal, Északkeleti pillér Északkeleti pillér the Északi fal, the Bástya and the Hátsó fal cannot be climbed.

- can be climbed all year round: the Zöld fal, the Titkok kertje and the Törökfujató.

Parking lot: parking available in the gravel square below the castle. GPS coordinates: 47.358926, 18.278084
Possibility of drinking water: from the blue public well next to the gravel parking lot and from the well next to the entrance to the castle.

Nearest toilet: at the entrance to the castle and next to the gravel parking lot.

Approaching the rocks: from the parking lot below the castle, follow the blue sign and turn when you reach the wooden steps up left towards the rocks. With a comfortable five-minute walk, we reach the wooden stairs that lead under the North-East wall, from where other sectors are also accessible.

The rocks of the climbing school are varied, many different climbing styles are possible. The climbing routes can be to the liking of those who also like short, slabs and those who are attracted by an exposed, 25-30 meter long routes. The walls of Csókakő are generally oriented to the north and are cooler (the Bölcsöde and Óvoda sectors are an exception).

The construction and maintenance of the climbing school is carried out by members of the Rotpunkt Rock Climbing Association.
