Driving: Head up the old du Toit's Kloof pass (NOT the N1) and park on the left just before a sharp left bend. Donkerkloof is visible on the right.
Parking: Caution: on weekends this parking spot is very popular as the locals using it to party.My car has be broken into here, and the drunk people could be aggressive so beware...also, there is a religious group that use the Kloof for some kind of strange ceremonys - so be warned!!
Walking: Gain the trail on the right side of the stream and follow the trail up the kloof (gorge) passing 2 large scree slopes and at the 3rd walk up it to the base of the large red amphitheatre. The route starts on the right with an obvious flat base.
