This spectacular sector has the longest sports routes on the island and is dominated by long continuous climbing.
The morphology of the rock and the height of the cliff requires a mix of sport and traditional climbing. It is a warm zone, oriented to the South, perfect for cloudy days.
Risco de Guaria is located within the Protected Natural Area of La Montaña de Tejina. In article 19 of the conservation policy, climbing is considered an Authorized Use. However, prior permission is required to climb and is granted through an automated process on the web portal of the Council of Tenerife (www.centralreservas.tenerife.es).
