We like Oak Park - "The Ledges"

One of the only spots to go in Michigan. There isn't much choice but for it to be a favorite when there is nothing else around.
IT is all dirty wet frible and chossy sand stone that makes for some very interesting, challenging and fun climbing.
It is all top rope no sport or trad. Do not try to trad climb it. The town is pro climbing and paid for the anchors to be put in and for the up keep of the area (which is very beautiful). The town also requires the use of mats or carpets under the anchors.
