No special access issues
Drive R70 from Oppdal in the direction of Sunndalsøra. After 27km you reach the top of
Gråura. There is a car park on either side of RV70, which forms a small plateau
just before Gråura flows down towards Sunndalen. You can park here.
Walk 300m in the direction of Sunndalen until you see an old school building on the left
(yes, it really is a school!). A forest road leads from the school
down towards the climbing area. Follow this one. When the road ends you are standing at the top of of a hill. The cliff is at the front of this hill. Follow an indistinct path until you find signs of activity. Rappel from a tree down to the stand shelf (NB! 35m). You can move relatively easily on the belaying shelf without need to secure yourself.
Return: The route "Veien hjem går via toppen" has a bolted ladder after the anchor which
goes to the top (6-), the whole return goes in one pitch. Alternative return: Traverse out
along the shelf in the direction of Sunndalen (somewhat exposed). Then easy scrambling up the side of
the cliff in rugged terrain.
