Description

This narrow canyon is a respite from the heat and an easy place to be with a group or kids. The base is large and flat and mostly risk-free for little kids. The base always has some shade, and the routes are in the shade for half of the day. The canyon also acts as a wind tunnel so you can often be cold here when it's hot in Agadir.

There are enough routes here to keep a group busy for a half day. Mornings are best in the summer, and midday/afternoon is best in the winter.

History

There is an odd spattering of old bolts that were initially placed by some locals to teach canyoning techniques. A few routes were put up around 2015, and more recently a local guiding company (Jebel Adventures) has been replacing the bolts on the old routes and also developing new routes.
