No special access issues

🚗 Driving Directions:
From Fayetteville, turn right onto US-19N and cross the NRG bridge. Take the first left into the Burnwood Ranger Station. Drive straight back and park at the left pavilion.

🚶‍♂️Hiking Directions:
From the pavilion, make a beeline straight left into the woods. The trailhead has no marker, but it's well used. From the trailhead you can throw a rock and hot the Super Happy Fun Ball Boulder (but don't do that). The trail is very short with a tiny section of poorly maintained steep walking. Total hiking time: 30 seconds.

You can also walk from the AAC Campground. From the lower fire ring (across from campsite 23), cross the small creek and follow the doubletrack trail up the hill then down the hill (passing the Tuggin' Shack of the Interp Boulders), cross another small creek, then take a left at the fork (you could take a right too, toward the other Interp Bouldering areas. This is a loop trail. It's just the longer side of the loop). At the next fork, take a left out of the loop. When you enter the grassy trail, take a right at the fork. This will lead you to the Burnwood Ranger Station. This trail spots you out near the bathrooms. On your right you'll see 2 pavilions. Cross the lawn to the far pavilion and follow the regular hiking directions.
