No special access issues

The crag lies on Open Access Land, but the moor above the cliff is owned by a shooting syndicate! Parking is limited and can be an issue.

Approach: : There are two alternatives. Approaching from the north or west, from the B5470 Chapel en le Frith to Whaley Bridge road, turn onto Combs Road approximately 1.5km west of Chapel. Follow this through the village of Combs, passing the Beehive Inn, then continue uphill on the now narrow lane (Ridge Lane leading into Cowlow Lane) with the crag in full view ahead. Where the lane levels out there are two small lay-bys with room for around six vehicles. Do not park anywhere else as wide farm vehicles and machinery frequently use this lane. On foot, walk 40m up the road to a stile on the right. Cross this and follow the obvious path steeply uphill to reach the far left-hand end of the crag (5 minutes).
Approaching from the south or east: in the village of Dove Holes turn onto Station Road and follow this, crossing the railway line, for approximately 500m before turning left onto Cowlow Lane. Continue along the now narrow lane for just over 2km to reach the parking area.
