Description

Cuvier Est / Bellevue / Sorcières
The in-between Bas Cuvier and Rempart. This is an area with some new classics and some old classics. You can find the world's oldest recorded boulder problem here: La Fissure Wehrlin from 1908. Besides this one, there are plenty of cool boulders in the grade range all the way up to 8B. So something for everyone!
You can also find an newly re-painted black circuit starting almost from the parking of bas cuvier. This one goes trough-out the area and ends up at one of the classics around here: Duroxmanie (Black 29) and as the last one Le Carré d'As (Black 30).

There are so many classical boulders around that it is hard to mention what to try. Many of them or so high quality. Download to topo offline and walk around and climb everything you like to looks of. There ain't much of reception in the area so Offline is a must.

The area of often quiet but some of the "mega-classics" like Duroxmanie seems to get quite much attention especially during high seasons.

There is a trail to Duroxmanie, but it's also possible to follow the blue painted SB5 trail. It goes trough the the area quite nicely. Some of the boulders are a bit spread out so following GPS is highly recommended.

The black circuit starts with these, which will be found in the area of Bas Cuvier:
1 Les Doigts 6A
2 La Pogne 6A
3 La Poigne 6A
4 Le Porc Épique 5
5 Cocorico 5
6 La Salade 6A+
7 Scampi Fritti 6C
8 Erectissima 6B
9 Les Petites Crampes à Messner 6A
10 Le Nez 6A
11 La Fissure de la Lionne 5
