Description

El Hoyo is located in the ravine of Piedra Bermeja, at a lower level than Fantasma.
This sector is in an area with a special morphology. It is characterized by its smooth basalt walls, caused by water erosion. It has fifty or so short but unique routes, the majority of which are grade 6. The climbing here is technical friction climbing.
The sector alternates between sun and shade throughout the day, making it a good area to climb throughout the year. Like sector Fantasma, it is a good option when there is rain at higher elevations.

🧗 One of the options to access the climbing area is to rappel 12 m. To leave, use a small ferrata (permanently protected route) that is towards the end of the ravine, on the left, which you could also use to descend.
To clarify the order of the photos, we differentiate the sector between its left and right walls (with respect to the rappel route).
