The Lone Boulder 1 / 2
  • Starting on the far left of the boulder near the arete - traverse rightward through the crack line to join Aye-n-ard Crack, finish up this.
  • From the horizontal break on the arete go up via slopers and a pocket
  • Dyno to the lip from the horizontal break.
  • SDS the rounded overhanging arete from the low break line, squeeze hard to reach the next break and power your way up to the top...
  • A test of jamming prowess through the lines vertical crack line.
  • SDS from the base of Rhythm then into the horizontal crack to the left then finish up Aye-n-ard Crack.
  • SDS the same feature of Rhythm but when possible vacate the harder line to the crackline up and left via undercut pocket and a desperate top out.
  • The rightward rising feature is a striking line of major significance, a sloping top with a dynamic approach might see this line conquered? Sadly the block is deteriorating so is regarded 'easier' than it was when it was first dispatched. Goes from a sit start.
