No special access issues

Take route 84 west from Sveg towards Hede. When you reach the sign for the small settlement of Ransjö slow down and turn left by a set of mailboxes on the left side of the road. Follow the dirt road to the left at the first intersection you encounter and keep driving until you reach the small bridge over Ljusnan. Continue over the bridge and then refer to the crag map for suitable parking spaces.

For access to the southern and eastern parts of Hygget sector please choose the parking space shown on the crag map even for the boulders near the cottages. You can access those by walking the dirt road another 400 m from the parking and then turning left into the forest. These boulders are the most access sensitive since a few of them are within sight of one of the cottages. Keep noise levels down.

Only Egyptica and Ptah boulders have a clear trail to follow but getting lost in Hygget sector is not an issue.

Åsen sector can be accessed both from the south and the east. An approach from the east may be best for Vindicate, Utopia, Naja Naja, Juno and Vulcanix Underground boulders. For the other boulders an approach from the south is recommended. There are no trails to the boulders at Åsen so just go by the topo map. This parking is also used for the eastern half of Rasbranten sector. The easiest way to reach Rasbranten from the parking is to follow the machine tracks along the left side of the clearing and continue up and above the densely forested area to the left. At the northwestern end of the clearing enter the forest and continue straight west down the slope until you reach the Troll and Mr. Scary boulders. From here the other boulders are accessed by rock-hopping across the talus field.

From the westernmost parking space used for access to the western part of Rasbranten you follow the western edge of the wetlands through sparse pine forest bearing northeast for about 250 meters to a point where you can carefully jump across the wetlands. Once across, follow the eastern edge of the wetlands and then continue northeast until you reach Västra Ankaret and The Dragon boulders.

At some point in April the ground frost is expected to thaw and this makes the dirt roads beyond the bridge over Ljusnan extremely soft and muddy. During this short period it is not recommended to drive these roads because of the damage this causes.
