Description

A beautiful seacliff in Grimstad, Norway. The crag was bolted and developed by Børre Bergshaven.

🧗Mostly slab to near-vertical climbing on Grimstadgranitt (redish granite with large crystals, somewhat porous). Heights up to 20m and grades from 4 to 7b, mostly around 6a-6c. Not frequented very often, so bring a steel brush and maybe a small saw.

⚠️N.B.! the routes may be drawn inaccurately. Especially the lines between Mosestien and La Esquina.
ℹ️ Please provide topo suggestions, additional information or any other feedback that might improve the crag info :)

🚣🚗The cliff is accessible by boat and rappel. Boat is definitely the easier option. From the parking, follow a track under the power line, take left through a small gorge and emerge at the top of the cliff. Rappel from trees.

☀️🌬️The crag is in the sun most of the day and gets really warm in summer. Best for winter, spring and fall-seasons. Can be quite windy.

🖌️The crag is maintained by Grimstad Arendal Klatreklubb (GAKK) and all income goes to bolting and maintaining local crags. See http://www.klatringsor.no.
