Kostenets

Located between the cities of Sofia and Plovdiv, Kostenets is an ideal summer climbing venue. This crag offers 2 sectors: Over the road and Over the river.

Over the road sector is full of slabby and face sport climbing from font 5c to 7c+
Over the river sector is the opposite, with steep overhanging climbing from font 6c+ to 8a+

This crag was bolted in 2017, meaning it is relatively new so make sure to always wear a helmet. The people who have taken part in developing it are: Nikolay Petkov, Elitsa Pavlova, Doychin Boyanov, Nikola Kalistrin, Martin Penkov, Vasil Tsvetkov, Konstantin Kostadinov and Boyko Lalov.
