We like Kyloe in the Wood

A good crag certainly. 'Northumberland's premier bouldering destination' as per the guide? Not for me. Very reminiscent of a limestone crag in that it's all very steep and fingery, you don't top anything out and it's dry until it seeps, all of which really isn't what I go to Northumberland for. It'll make you strong though...
Stunning woodland location. Bullet hard sandstone, pocket-ey and steep. Maybe not suitable for absolute beginners, but fair few f6s and plenty of f7s.
