Description

The rocks of the commando training center in Marche-Les-Dames are in fact part of the vast dolomite formation that also contains the nearby climbing site of Beez (topo coming soon by CAB).
Part of the over 160 routes here are often used for military training purposes and are quite polished (often the easier routes).
Nevertheless, the vast majority of the routes here offer very interesting and often vertical and strenuous climbing.
🧗‍♀️
The Foquet sector is known for its multipitch climbs in an impressive surrounding.
Moustache is a recently developped sector, wrongly ignored by many climbers, as is the Toit Heylen, facing the Moustache.
Tarzan is a classical initiation sector, whereas Crombez is the heart of the climbing site, with some hard routes. The Refuge is a cozier cliff, whereas Château is sometimes considered as an outdoor climbing gym.
Amphie and Mess offer more adventurous climbing.
