Matinkylä

Matinkylä is an urban area with a good amount of climbs. The main wall is close to houses, so it's important to behave accordingly. It's a very fast drying area, so after rain it can be dry within hours. Some very good lines to try would be:

It's a very child friendly area and easily reachable from the parking with a stroller.

The cliff was discovered, cleaned and opened back in 2000 by Mika "Montsi" Tenetz. Montsi was studying physiotherapy back then and that's how the names of the routes came to life.
