Description

A smaller rock outcrop tucked in between olive groves below the castle of Petrela, just 15 kilometers outside Tirana, this crag has a different character from some of the other crags in the area. The grades, bolting, approach and base of the wall all make the area perfect for families and beginners. The beautiful village and surrounding make it a nice place to escape the hustle and bustle (and summer heat) of the city.

Castle Wall
A small wall with two beginner friendly routes.

Wild Wasp
On both the left and right sides there are some nice slabs. The center has a short overhang with cool juggy features.

History

The routes here were bolted by local climbers aiming to create a crag that’s more family friendly.
