Description

A nice limestone crag at the east end of the Frontales ridgeline, perfect for beginners. Serena has a lot of climbing in the easy grades, and some intermediate climbing, but nothing really hard. The easier climbing is concentrated on the middle and lower right hand part of the cliff. Situated in the far end of the Frontales ridgeline, Serena is normally very quiet even though the views are magnificent.

The middle part of the sector is a perfect teaching area. It has cable along the ledge between the lower-offs for teaching, which can be accessed on foot fom the far right. Serena is very generously bolted and the routes have has a variety of moves for such short routes.

☀️ The Serena cliff catches the sun for most of the day, but the high altitude ensures a cool breeze.
