No special access issues
Approach: Park at “Hollin Bank” pay and display car park. From here, follow a wide, well-marked path up towards the crag, reaching a gate at the boarders of the wooded plantation after approximately 300m. For climbs between Count’s Buttress Area and Tower face Area, continue up the main path, passing through a second gate, from where the individual buttresses are clearly visible. Various minor paths lead up to the crag (10 -12 minutes from P). Count’s Buttress Area is situated some 200m to the left (north) of where the path reaches the top of the edge, and is best reached by walking along the crag-top path (15 minutes from P). For climbs between Paradise Wall Area and The Unconquerables Area, immediately after the gate at the entrance to the Plantation, head first rightwards and then straight up, keeping to the right-hand border of the trees, to reach the crag (10 - 12 minutes).
