⛰️The "Valle Gesso" is immersed in a very picturesque alpine environment, with a flowing river and grazing cows. The boulders are mainly divided into two sectors: "Isengard," the first one further upstream, and "Vanilla Sky," the second one further downstream. Isengard predominantly offers boulders on an alpine meadow with short grass and generally good landing spots. The boulders range in height from 2 to 6 meters, and climbing is typically athletic with sharp holds and excellent grip. The boulders extend up to the scree of rocks, providing various opportunities to open new routes.
Vanilla Sky is located closer to the trail, with one part immersed in a beech forest and the other part along a cascade of rocks. Here too, the boulders vary in height, but not all falls are ideal. In this area, there is a playground that can be expanded with the creativity of future route setters. At the beginning of the path leading to the boulders, there is a refuge where you can eat or simply have a coffee. The area offers three main parking lots, a fountain for water next to the refuge, and the possibility of using the "Sotto il Faggio" campsite, which could become the base camp for a multi-day vacation.
The valley has no internet connection, so it is necessary to download the climbing guide in advance. The area also offers a variety of hiking trails that are exceptional for rest days. The opportunity to swim in the river at the end of the session makes everything even more charming.

⛰️La "Valle Gesso" è immersa in un ambiente alpino molto suggestivo, con un fiume che scorre e mucche al pascolo. I blocchi sono divisi principalmente in due settori: "Isengard", il primo più a monte, e "Vanilla Sky", il secondo più a valle. Isengard offre blocchi prevalentemente su un prato alpino, con erba corta e cadute generalmente buone. I blocchi hanno un'altezza compresa tra 2 e 6 metri, e la scalata è tipicamente atletica su prese nette con un ottimo grip. In 2000, Antonio Stazio explored the lower part of the valley, reviewed in the other two areas on 27crags. Marco Torielli is credited with the first climbs in the seventh grade, while for the more extreme ones, we had to wait for the arrival of the legendary Christian Core. In recent years, the development of the area has not stopped, with Antonio Stazio and Marco Torielli continuing to establish new routes, such as "Camera Con Vista" at Vanilla Sky. The new generations in the valley have arrived with the advent of the Tallone brothers, Alessandro Palma, who also freed "Bomba a Mano," and Luca Macario. Projects of a lifetime are now passing into the hands of young and incredibly strong climbers, and the climbing history in this valley is just beginning again.
