Description

Scenic sea side cliff, perfect for summer sport and trad climbing. The approach is worth it only for the view.

The cliff is right by the sea with a wonderful view of the bay of Sundsvall. The crag is at its best during the summer since it is facing east. The crag only have direct sun during the early morning hours. The location by the sea can also make it cold during spring and autumn.

Brattberget offers o good mix of sports, trad and mixed routes.

The approach to the crag is done by a few minutes walk along the trail. Half way you will come to the small shelter where you can stay for the night. A mosquito net can be useful. It might be hard to find a comfortable spot to pitch your tent. You have to carry water with you from the car. There is fire pit in the wind shelter.

The easiest way to access the crag is to follow the path to the south.
It is quite steep at the end but there are ropes to help you walk down.
The shorter path to east will require some scrambling.
