Description

Breguzzo, also called Cengio della Vecia, is a historic crag located at 1000 meters above sea level in the beautiful Giudicarie valleys.
It features a limestone rock with huge holes. The climbing requires a good amount of power-endurance, since the routes are mainly overhanging and have a lot of reachy moves.
24 routes from 4 to 8b, but we one who is confident with the 7b/7c range will better appreciate this place. Since the crag is relatively old, some routes could result polished.
Thanks to its altitude and the shade of the trees, it is possible to find ok conditions also during Summer. The best rock grip shows up during Autumn and Spring, but we do not suggest coming here after long rainy periods.
All the routes are well equipped and the crag base is comfortable with a picnic area.
Access is quite short and easy.

Spend some time visiting the close Tione and the beautiful Rendena valley, you will not regret it!

History

The crag has been equipped by Bruno Ferrari. The routes names are the surnames of the inhabitants of Breguzzo.
