Cala Magrana, a recent addition to Mallorca's deep water solo climbing scene, offers a fresh opportunity with seven established routes and potential for a few more. It complements the existing cliff beautifully, expanding the range of experiences for climbers seeking the thrill of deep water soloing in this picturesque setting.
As highlighted in the accompanying image, it's essential to set up a rappel rope for safe descent and ascent on the left side. A ledge below and submerged rocks in the water makes it too dangerous to downclimb/climb. While the right-side exit is considered safer, both exits can be challenging in the presence of bigger waves. Prior to climbing, it's crucial to assess the water conditions for a safe exit. For a secure conclusion to your session, we strongly recommend using the rope on the left side to go up and down and to swim around the rock in the water to reach the water exit on the left.

HomeRun (7b): A standout route, HomeRun offers a physical challenge with solid holds, making it an excellent climb.
Tijuana Flamethrower (8a/+): This route boasts a higher difficulty level, featuring small crimps. With its unique character, Tijuana Flamethrower will quickly become a classic. Be ready to crimp!
Poisedon's Kiss (8c): The most demanding route on the cliff, Poisedon's Kiss was opened by Philippe Geisenhoff. The beta is to use a right hand one finger pocket in the roof!
