Description

First sector "Virgin Area" is perfect for beginners with a lot of easy/moderate routes and it's not too high. The second sector "Hupolup", is really impressive. It's a 18m wall with really good quality of rock.

Be careful to check water exit before you climb. Check the conditions of the ropes, salty water is really bad for ropes. You won't be able get out of the water in "Hopulup" area if there isn't the rope!

It's really easy to reach from the parking, it's good to combine with a beach day in Cala Sa Nau or as a warm up before to go to Cala Mitjana.

Best routes:
- Spindly Killer fish
- Vadage
- Weatherman

Be careful in the Bounty sector, it's not so easy to exit the water.

History

Climbers started to be active on the area from 2000 and become famous from the first ascents of the harder route in the main wall. Chris Sharma opened "The Weatherman" (2003) and Klem Loskot "Hupolup Kempf" (2003), two proud lines which are still some of the best DWS climbs of the island!
