No special access issues
To access the bouldering area, climbers must first reach Kyangjin Gompa, the final permanent settlement along the Langtang Valley trekking route. Kyangjin Gompa offers good logistical support and a range of accommodation options, including hotels and lodges, making it an ideal base for climbers. During the daytime, access to the bouldering sectors can be obtained either by consulting local lodge owners or by following established approach tracks.
Most of the boulders are located toward the Khimsung Glacier side. When approaching the area, follow the trail toward the glacier lake and face the direction of the streamflow. From this point, take the small stream on the left-hand side, which originates from the Khimsung Glacier, rather than the main stream flowing from the glacier lake. This route leads behind the Kyangjin Gompa monastery, which serves as a key reference point for accessing the bouldering area.
