No special access issues

There are no serious access issues here, but Higgar Tor lies in the Peak District National Park and visiting climbers are expected to behave in a respectful manner.
Approach: From the Upper Burbage Bridge parking area (also the parking area for Burbage North Edge) continue driving along Ringinglow Road for approximately 950m to reach a large lay-by on the right-hand side of the road. On foot, pass through the wooden gate opposite the lay-by to the start of a public footpath. Do not follow this, instead turn immediately right and take a smaller path keeping pretty much parallel to the road for approximately 200m (here there is another wooden gate giving access from the road). About 90m further on branch left and follow a smaller path, which contours around the hillside to the base of the crag (5 minutes from P).
