🚗 Arrival
From Brescia: take the SS45 bis ring road (known as Gardesana Occidentale). Take the exit for Mazzano / Valle di Virle. At the first roundabout, take the first exit. You will immediately reach a second roundabout (if arriving from Lake Garda via the SS45 bis, your exit will lead directly to this roundabout).
Continue straight toward Mazzano until you reach another roundabout, where you will take the first exit to enter the town. Drive straight through the next roundabout until you reach the following one, then take the last exit toward Mazzano center. At the stop sign, turn right and drive for 500 meters before turning left into the cemetery car park. Drive past the cemetery and follow the steep, narrow road that leads to a small parking area on the right where the road ends.
Please be careful not to leave any valuables inside your vehicle, as thefts have been reported here in recent years.
🚶♂️ Sectors
Pass the barrier and follow the steep dirt road until you reach the Alpini chapel. Beside the small church, follow the steep path climbing over some rocks; after approximately 40 meters, the trail splits upon reaching a large rock slab.
• Main sector: turn right at this junction and follow the path along the fixed ropes to quickly reach the climbing area.
• Monte Tartarino - Copperhead: turn left at the junction and continue for just over 250 meters until you reach another fork. Keep left here to reach a viewpoint with a flag. The wall is clearly visible from this vantage point, so you can follow the trail traces to reach the base of the crag.
