No special access issues
This section explains how to reach the two climbing areas on the sides of the bicycle lane connecting Dro and Pietramurata. The distance from the car park and the sector can be easily covered using the bike.
Arrival:
From Arco head to Trento. Follow the main road for about 4 km until you get to the roundabout of Dro town. Go straight on, stay on the road for 3.5 km and you will see the old electrical plant of Fies on the right. If your goal is Elia’s boulder we suggest to turn right and enter the small car park. Otherwise continue driving on the main road for other 3.9 km, enter the city of Pietramurata, go over the pharmacy and turn right. Drive straight, cross the bridge over Sarca river and after the cemetery turn right. Turn right again after few tens of meters to enter the car park of the cemetery, where you can stop.
Sectors:
Elia’s boulder:
Form Fies car park, head to the bridge over Sarca river, cross it and turn left into the bicycle lane. Follow the lane for about 450 meters and you will find the small sector on the left.
Agosto’s boulder and the boulder area on the back:
Exit the Pietramurata cemetery and go right on the bumpy road heading into the countryside. At the first junction go left, then walk for about 280 meters to reach the paved road. Go right, walk on the paved road for about 260 meters and reach the starting point of the bicycle lane. Enter the bicycle lane on the right, then follow it for about 1 km. The sector is on the left side of the lane and clearly visible. Few tens of meters before Agosto's boulder, there is a trace that leads to the boulder area on its back.
