No special access issues
This section explains how to reach the six crags over the city of Pietramurata. From south to north: Pian dela Paia, Transatlantico, Camerette, Muro di chitarra, Baule and Giardino di Nato.
🚗 Arrival:
From Arco head to Trento. Follow the main road for about 4 km until you get to the roundabout of Dro town. Go straight on, stay on the road for 7.4 km and enter the city of Pietramurata. Go over the pharmacy on the right, drive for other 230 meters and turn left into the car park of the New Entry bar. Leave the car in the car park behind the bar. This is the car park of all the sectors.
To reach Pian dela Paia routes there is another possible car park that we suggest. 500 meters before Pietramurata you can find the motorsport center called “Ciclamino”. You can leave your car here.
🚶Sectors:
From the backyard car park, take the narrow path running along the left side of the white house and follow it for about 190 meters, till you get to a green-yellow barrier. Turn left and after 90 meters you will find an evident path on the right.
To reach Transatlantico or Camerette, stay on the main path, while to get to Muro di chitarra, Baule or Giardino di nato turn right.
Transatlantico and Camerette:
Follow the path for 110 meters and you will get to a dirt road. Turn right and walk for 70 meters till you find an evident path on the right.
If your goal is Camerette, take this path and follow it till you find a junction close to the wall. Go right and you will get to the extreme left sector of the crag (about 170 meters from the dirt road). To reach the other sector of Camerette, walk other 50 meters along the wall.
Otherwise if you want to reach Transatlantico, stay on the dirt road for about 1 km and you will reach an hairpin bend going to the right close to the wall. Walk for other 70 meters along the road and look for a pillar of stones on the left indicating the path leading to the crag. Take this path and you will get very quickly to the crag. The approach to the multi-pitch routes is reported in their description.
Muro di chitarra, Baule and Giardino di Nato:
Follow the path until you get over a stony ground (about 160 meters from the junction). Go over the stony ground and keep the left at the first junction with a path going downhill. Walk till the next crossroad with a pillar of stones.
If you want to climb by Giardino di Nato, go right and after about 60 meters you will find the crag.
Alternatively, go left and walk along the uphill path for 180 meters. You will get close to the base of Baule. Go left following some traces of path and you will get to Muro di chitarra, while keep the right to reach Baule.
Pian dela Paia:
From Ciclamino motorsport car park, head to the bar, then continue walking on the paved road on its left. Walk for about 870 meters, going over the motocross track and the cultivated fields. Now take the path on the right going inside the woods. It is indicated by red dots and leads to the base of the wall. When you get closer to the wall there are many traces on the right going to the sector.
