First route of the grade for me in Sweden. Eighth try. Even though it didn't go easy for me, it didn't feel as hard as other 8bs I've tried during the last year. In any case, it certainly was send train day on it this Saturday, after K.Olsson and P.Renlund walked it in style. Good job boys!

It took me sooo long adjusting to Rodellar after Kalymnos. Maybe it was the shoulder injury but joder it felt good to get to the end of this one with enough fuel to even try the 8b extension. Next round!

This was the last climb my shoulder could take last week in Rodellar. Had to let out some karate like lower abdomen grunt shout to make this one happen. Please Barcelona deliver some rest and relaxation to continue the dream.

Second Route on two week visit with Matilda. Good start

"A ride on the giant single colonette" says the guide. Suuuuper runout. Got up this one almost more out of pure fear than anyting else. Lost any notion of composture humping the tufa too. So happy to clear the whole damn 40 meters in one go, just to not do it again :P

FA by David Graham, Onsight, rated 8b by him. 5 years until it saw a repeat. Its dynamic and beautiful. Perfectly placed jugs one after the other, all an arms span from the next. It did treat me more like 8b, took 3 days on it, finally got it fourth try on the last day. With a hurt shoulder and in the summer heat. Still, id say its 8a+, even though id love to say i guess i must be getting stronger. Then again, most things seem easier after they're done.

Ripped one of the its amazing tuffas onto my face while my other hand was with the rope between the fingers 15 cms from the anchor clip. Drank my own blood for next go revenge. A bit sad for the slightly "damaging" change we bring to such amazing places

Amazing day. Finally. Fiiinally, what looked impossible became possible. I climbed 8a onsight. Onsight means, climbed a line first try ever without any previous knowledge of the route. In this case I climbed through this roof you see here from the point the photo is taken from, 23 bolts, overhanging the whooole way. For sure the craziest sport line I've ever tried. Basically pure flow. A day to remember, in perfect golden light!On to the next one!

The route is in the later developed Küllin sector sitting the northern part of the Geyikbayiri valley. Miguel was veeery close to sending the first part when we first started to try it. It starts on the far right edge of the cave and goes up to the first ledge where it meets Phoenix 8b+. From there both routes finish on the same anchor. The whole of the route is composed of three parts, each with its hard bouldery crux. It has two sit-on-ledge resting places. Needless to say the route is more power than endurance.

Took a good rest before the roof and most likely made it 8a for me. Still, one more classic down, great movement. New realization for me in climbing since yesterday, thinking about purpose: Meaning is in the act. Not in falling or not falling or topping or even improving or pushing limits. Living itself is heroic enough. Venga! on to the next one!

Im either unusually strong or this 8A was unusually easy. I kept the heel all the way and i therefore believe it might not be as hard as initially rated. Its also an eliminate because keeping the heel then exiting towards the huge edge to the right is from my opinion (even if unfortunate for the existing line) more like the path of least resistance on the way up. Otherwise its fantastic movements, stone aesthetics and the place itself is very beautiful, especially at sunset under crisp conditions

One of Costa Rica's finest boulders hands down. A 20 minute drive from San Jose and a 20 minute hike to reach. Go get it! Thanks Gino Negrini for sharing such great climbs.

Christofer Ellis FA back in the OG days. Went yesterday after first try on it a month ago. -1C, 16:00 hours, post sunset, headlamp on holds, 3 of them seeping water. Then, triple kneebar beta kicked in and the whole thing clicked. Gracias Renlundos and Ash for a najs Sunday eve!

Fun to find, brush, document, name and go. Plus extremely beautiful block. There is probably a harder line more towards the arete that is yet to be done.
